Quality care and services at Arbor Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center are being recognized at the national level. The Wayne skilled nursing center earned a Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
AHCA/NCAL is the nation’s largest association of long-term and post-acute care providers. The Bronze award represents the first of three distinctions possible through its National Quality Award Program, which acknowledges organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to further improve the lives of residents and staff in long term care.
As a Bronze award recipient, Arbor Ridge can move on to the second level of the program, the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award. Trained examiners review each application to determine if the center has met the demands of criteria in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer and workforce, operations, and knowledge management.

Arbor Ridge is in the midst of a multi-million-dollar, top-to-bottom renovation. The ongoing work includes a building expansion featuring a new, 3,000-square-foot therapy gym and the incorporation of a spacious activities of daily living (ADL) suite; further upgrades also include the addition of 30 new private rooms.
Alongside the renovation, Arbor Ridge has continued to enhance the facility’s specialized programming in partnership with leading regional healthcare providers. Offerings include Pulmonary Care, Cardiac Care and Physiatry Services, among others.
