Newark-based Prudential Advisors, the retail wealth management arm of Prudential Financial announced on Monday the addition of Premier Planning Partners, a Mishawaka, Indiana-based practice with over $550 million in client assets.
The move is a major win for Prudential Advisors, which continues to expand its presence and talent pool across the Midwest. The all-female team, which joins from Raymond James Financial, is led by Managing Partners Michelle Bryant and Marcia Kamiak.
Premier Planning Partners specializes in wealth management for a niche clientele, including professional women, small business owners, and recipients of financial windfalls. The team cited Prudential’s robust platform as the key driver for their transition.
“Prudential Advisors offers us the ability to scale our practice while providing our clients with more investment solutions and capabilities,” Bryant said. “Their modern infrastructure, technology suite, marketing services and business development support will allow us to grow our brand in Indiana and beyond. Prudential’s client-first, values-driven culture was a perfect fit with our practice.”
Braxton Barton, regional director for Prudential Advisors, emphasized the significance of the new addition, particularly their focus on diversity in the financial landscape.
“We’re thrilled to bring on such a great group of women who are changing the investment advisory landscape and empowering other women within the industry,” Barton stated.
The addition of the Indiana-based team bolsters Prudential Advisors’ strong growth trajectory throughout 2025. The firm has successfully welcomed new financial advisors representing more than $3 billion in client assets this year, increasing its overall advisor headcount by nearly 9%.
Patrick Hynes, president of Prudential Advisors, commented that attracting high-caliber teams like Premier Planning Partners confirms the firm’s strategic success.
“We’re executing on our ambitious growth strategy… We are incredibly proud to be a place where practices of the caliber of Premier Planning Partners feel supported to not only grow but thrive in our evolving industry.”
