Anywhere appoints Tom Hudson as head of investor relations

Madison-based Anywhere Real Estate has appointed Tom Hudson as head of investor relations. Hudson will spearhead engagement with the investment community to spotlight the full potential of its businesses and brands.

“As we continue fueling our financial momentum for the future, Tom’s proven ability to navigating complex organizations makes him an ideal choice to lead investor engagement in our next chapter,” Charlotte Simonelli, Anywhere executive vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer said.

“Tom’s leadership will strengthen our ability to communicate our story and financial foresight to the market as we unlock new growth opportunities,” Ryan Schneider, Anywhere president and CEO.

Hudson brings a long track record in financial leadership and investor engagement to his new role having held senior roles with consumer technology leaders including Fanatics, Fitbit, eBay, and PayPal. Throughout his career, he has helped companies navigate high-growth environments and major milestones, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of Fanatics into a digital sports platform, helping guide Fitbit through its $2.1 billion acquisition by Google, and leading the successful spin-off and IPO of PayPal from eBay. Previously, he also co-led Clearbridge Investment’s research team and managed growth equity portfolios.

“I’m thrilled to join Anywhere at such a pivotal moment for the company and the real estate industry at-large,” Hudson said. “The company’s renewed focus on growing, innovating, and making savvy moves to improve its capital structure present an exciting opportunity to reintroduce its story to the investment community in a way that reflects its momentum and long-term potential.”
