Barnes & Noble College (BNC) on Tuesday announced the launch of Campus to Career. This new offering is designed to equip college students with the essential tools, resources, and insights necessary to successfully transition from the classroom into the professional workforce.
Campus to Career addresses a persistent concern among employers, with a 2025 survey by Intelligent.com finding that nearly one in four hiring managers believe recent graduates are unprepared for interviews. Simultaneously, demand for career guidance on campus is high, with over 43% of four-year students seeking resume assistance from career centers.
“Graduating students often face challenges in developing the essential skills needed to transition into the professional world successfully,” Celeste Risimini-Johnson, chief merchandise & operations officer, Barnes & Noble College said. “Campus to Career supports students by providing the tools, resources, and guidance they need to navigate job applications, interviews, and their transition into the workforce.”
The initiative features two key components:
- Digital Hub: An exclusive online platform, powered by Home From College (H\FC), which connects students at BNC-partner schools with real-world job and internship opportunities at Fortune 500 companies and startups. The hub also offers a wide range of career readiness resources and tools to help navigate the current job market.
- Curated Products: A collection of career-focused products available both online and in-store, including professional laptops, tech accessories, notebooks, planners, and career-help books. Select campus bookstores feature exclusive offerings from brands such as Microsoft, Dagne Dover, STM, and No Particular Order.
The launch underscores how BNC is evolving the campus bookstore’s role by providing innovative services and resources that extend well beyond traditional course materials and school merchandise, empowering students to build essential skills and confidently enter the workplace.
