Angeline Boyer has been named assistant vice president of public relations at Erbach Communications Group, the company announced Wednesday.
Boyer most recently served as assistant vice president of communications and marketing at Saint Peter’s University, where she led efforts to shape the university’s voice, elevate its reputation and deepen engagement with all constituencies. Boyer also played a critical role in the public rollout of Igniting the Mission, the university’s three-year strategic plan.
In the newly created position at ECG, Boyer will help to expand the agency’s public relations practice for a range of current and prospective clients in the nonprofit and corporate sectors. In this role, she will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations campaigns, overseeing media relations and collaborating with marketing and content teams to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
Boyer, who spent more than a decade at Saint Peter’s, rising from media relations officer to senior leadership-level communication and marketing roles, said she is eager to take on a new challenge.
“I have partnered with ECG for many years and have always admired the team’s creativity and dedication to helping their clients share their stories in meaningful ways,” she said. “I’m thrilled to officially join such a talented group and see great opportunity to expand the reach and impact of ECG’s clients through thoughtful, strategic public relations.”
ECG Group owner and President Kristen Volkland applauded the announcement.
“Angeline is a welcome and valued addition to the ECG team,” she said. “Her deep experience in public relations and marketing will be instrumental in bolstering our capabilities and the results we deliver for clients.”
Earlier in her career, Boyer honed her skills at R&J Strategic Communications, where she developed strategic campaigns for national consumer brands, nonprofits and business-to-business clients.
Boyer holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in marketing from Saint Peter’s and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations from Montclair State University.
