Union-based Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, a leading community-based provider supporting individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges, announces the hiring of Karen Kaufman, as director of Marketing and Communications.
Kaufman brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations to her new role. As a member of Bridgeway’s leadership team, she will lead strategic communications efforts to elevate the organization’s brand, engage key stakeholders, and advance mission-driven initiatives.

Before joining Bridgeway, Kaufman served in senior leadership roles at several regional, national, and international nonprofit organizations. Notably, she led marketing and communications for the IEEE Foundation. She has also held strategic communications roles in the education and human services sectors and is known for building cross-sector partnerships, implementing integrated marketing strategies, strengthening brand awareness, and effectively communicating organizational impact to diverse audiences.
