Marta Person Villa of CBRE is set to host the inaugural Rush CRE Women’s Networking Event on Nov. 12th from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Basking Ridge Country Club in Basking Ridge.
The event aims to provide women in commercial real estate (CRE) with a free, high-energy forum to network, learn from experts, foster professional growth, and ultimately, facilitate new business deals.
The event will feature an expert Market Trends Panel covering diverse sectors of the industry, including industrial, office, multi-family, capital markets, net lease, retail, lending, and municipal economic development. The speaker lineup includes a dynamic roster of professionals: Adenah Bayou, Zenobia Fields, Karly Iacono, Suzanne Macnow, Bridget Wilcox and Marta Villa.
The second hour of the event will be dedicated to “rapid fire networking” sessions, guided by table moderators, designed to maximize connections among attendees.
Villa explained the unique inspiration behind the event’s format: “The impetus for this event came from sorority rush, harnessing the creativity, organization and presentation skills of the big universities’ Greek organizations. We want to emulate that and make this event memorable and fun for attendees, with the goal of making a deal or gathering a piece of information to help advance a future transaction. After all, commercial real estate is still a relationship business.”
