Community Builders is growing its team. The Morristown-based firm on Wednesday announced it hired Rhett Mattson as assistant construction manager. A Morris County native and active U.S. Army Reservist, Mattson brings both technical skill and a strong sense of purpose to the company’s growing portfolio of construction projects.
“Serving in the Army Reserve instills the importance of discipline, teamwork, and mission focus,” Mattson said. “What drew me to Community Builders was how those same values are embedded in the company’s culture. This team is genuinely committed to building things that matter—to the clients, the community, and each other. Their disciplined approach is second to none.”
In his new role, Mattson will support field operations as the company continues to expand its presence across Northern & Central New Jersey, particularly in mission-driven projects.
“Rhett brings a quiet professionalism and integrity to everything he does,” Conor Evans, managing partner of Community Builders said. “His commitment to service, both in uniform and now on job sites, strengthens our ability to deliver meaningful projects while grounded in our core values. As we grow our footprint, he’s exactly the kind of teammate we want building alongside us.”
