CURE Auto, NJM Insurance and Prudential Insurance — three New Jersey-based firms have landed on Forbes’ prestigious list of America’s Best Insurance Companies for 2025, released on Tuesday.
The annual list is compiled in partnership with the market research firm Statista and is based on an independent survey of over 18,000 U.S. consumers. In addition to overall satisfaction and likelihood to refer the insurance provider, participants evaluated other various dimensions including customer service, price/performance, transparency, digital services and claims handling.
Forbes rankings of the World’s Best Insurance Companies 2025 includes three lists, each covering a distinct category of insurance: homeowners, auto and life.
Methodology: Statista surveyed more than 45,000 people across 15 countries in early 2025. Respondents were required to have held at least one insurance policy for their home, car or life within the last three years. They were then asked a series of questions about how satisfied they were with their insurer and if they would recommend it to others. Participants were also asked to rate their insurer based on criteria including the advice employees offered, customer service, price performance, transparency and claims service. Ultimately, the responses were analyzed and scored, and 304 insurance companies with the highest scores landed on one or more of Forbes’ final lists—130 companies on the homeowners insurance list, 155 on the auto insurance list and 150 on the life insurance list.
“Being named one of America’s Best Insurance Companies by Forbes is a testament to our service levels and our commitment to offering equitable insurance rates,” Eric Poe, chief executive officer CURE auto insurance, said. “We are honored by this recognition and remain dedicated to serving our policyholders with a focus on integrity and excellence.”
