Cushman & Wakefield markets $6M sale of premier office building near N.J. state capitol

43,157 SF office asset at 150 West State Street, Trenton, offers unparalleled access to state government and 94 on-site parking spaces

Cushman & Wakefield on Tuesday said it was retained to market the sale of 150 West State Street, a three-story, 43,157-square-foot office building in Trenton. The premier office asset is being listed with an asking price of $6,000,000.

The property is uniquely positioned steps away from the New Jersey State Capitol Complex, making it highly strategic for tenants requiring direct access to state government operations.

The Cushman & Wakefield team representing the seller, Capitol View Urban Renewal Associates, includes Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, Andre Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri.

“This property’s strategic location right next to the Capitol makes it a highly desirable asset in the Trenton market,” Schwartz said. “As the closest privately owned office building to the Statehouse, it offers an unparalleled advantage for tenants, and a potential new owner-occupier, that require direct access to state government operations.”

The building is approximately 80% leased to a stable roster of specialized tenants, including nonprofits, special interest groups, law firms, and other government-adjacent organizations. This occupancy level also provides an opportunity for new ownership to establish their own footprint at the property. A key feature of the asset is the availability of 94 on-site parking spaces.
