The DAK Group, the Ridgewood-based investment bank, has successfully navigated a complex cross-border transaction that reshapes the global audiovisual (AV) landscape.
The firm announced Monday that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to Level 3 Audiovisual, an Arizona-based industry leader, in its sale to Online Instruments, a prominent technology integration firm headquartered in India.
The deal marks a significant milestone for both companies, effectively creating a unified global platform for enterprise-grade audiovisual solutions.
-
For Level 3 Audiovisual: The partnership provides an immediate international footprint, allowing the U.S. firm to scale its engineering capacity and support multinational clients across Asia and the Middle East.
-
For Online Instruments: The acquisition grants a strategic “beachhead” in the United States, utilizing Level 3’s established technical teams and deep expertise in the American enterprise market.
The Ridgewood-based DAK team, led by Managing Director Ari Fuchs, managed all aspects of the transaction. The deal required meticulous coordination of cross-border mechanics and the alignment of multiple international stakeholders.
“Working with DAK on this transition was everything a business owner hopes for,” Brad Peterson, founder and chairman of Level 3 Audiovisual said. “They were patient, insightful, strategic, and intelligent. While there were challenges, working through them with DAK was incredible.”
Fuchs noted that the successful outcome was the result of a multi-year relationship.
“We were honored to advise the company on an outcome aligned with its long-term objectives,” he said.
The DAK deal team also included Jon Roth (director), Matthew Wisneski (associate), and Keeghan Krause (analyst).
