East Coast Warehouse & Distribution has named Michael Chase as director of business development for its Charleston market, the group announced Monday.
Chase will be responsible for managing and developing the company’s presence in Charleston.
The Elizabeth-based company aims to leverage its port-based expertise to offer temperature-controlled warehousing, container drayage, local and regional trucking, and national logistics services.
He brings over 20 years of sales, business development and supply chain experience to East Coast Warehouse.
Chase joins East Coast Warehouse from CMA CGM Group, where he served as Senior Key Account Manager which overlooked critical aspects of client supply chain platforms. Additionally, he has extensive experience within domestic and international 3PL segments.
East Coast Warehouse Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Daly was pleased with the hire.
“Michael has a strong track record of leadership and team building, which will be key as we work to build up our Charleston operation,” he said. “We are confident he will not only help us to develop a strong internal team in Charleston, but he will also help to cultivate our customer base in the market.”
