Dr. Ravi Patel, an otolaryngologist has been hired by ENT and Allergy Associates, the company said. He will begin on Sept. 1.
ENTA Vice President Steven Gold welcomed Patel.
“It is integral that we continue to recruit the best and brightest of the next generation of physicians, and we believe Dr. Patel embodies that,” he said. “He will be a huge asset to both our practice and the community he will serve.”
ENTA, which operates in the tri-state region, has locations in Parsippany and Wayne.
Patel will practice at ENTA’s state-of-the-art Madison Avenue facility located at 18 E. 48th Street, 2nd Floor, in Midtown Manhattan. Patel will practice alongside otolaryngologists Dr. Jonathan Aviv, Dr. Sujana S. Chandrasekhar, Dr. Ofer Jacobowitz, Dr. Jason A. Moche, and Dr. Ujwala Kaza, an allergist / immunologist.
Patel earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and cognitive sciences from Rice University. He earned his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine. Patel then completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the former.
He has co-authored publications on a wide range of topics including “Adenoidectomy: Inpatient Criteria Study” in the American Journal of Otolaryngology, “Immune-Mediated Sensorineural Hearing Loss in the Pediatric Population” in Oto Head and Neck Surgery, among others.
