Garden Communities together with the Lofts at Princeton development team announced the completion of the Meadow Road roundabout in Princeton.
The improvement was designed to ease traffic congestion and improve circulation at the intersection of Meadow Road and the Carnegie Center Connector Road.
The roundabout was constructed by Garden Communities as part of its development approval agreement for Lofts at Princeton, a luxury apartment community located at 100 Lofts Drive. The new traffic feature enhances access and safety in the Mercer County neighborhood – benefiting both Lofts at Princeton residents and the community.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Aug. 3 to commemorate the roundabout’s opening, attended by West Windsor Township Mayor Hemant Marathe and members of the Township Council. Local dignitaries commended the partnership between public officials and the private development team.
“This roundabout is more than just a traffic solution,” Nathaniel Welsh, Garden Communities’ director of development said. “Along with ensuring smooth and efficient transportation, it’s a meaningful step towards improving the daily experience of drivers – and future residents – in this corridor.”
Upon completion, Lofts at Princeton will feature 656 duplex apartments and loft-style rental residences along with a graciously appointed clubhouse and full complement of on-site lifestyle amenities. The community is being developed in three phases; the first includes 154 one-, two- and three-bedroom rental residences with floor plans ranging up to 1,620 square feet.
