Haleon, a global consumer health company with more than 24,000 employees working in more than 170 countries, is moving its North American headquarters from Warren to The Park in Berkeley Heights.
The firm, which recently signed a lease for a 78,000-square-foot spot in the 60-acre work-live-play park being created by the Connell Company, is expected to relocate 700 employees there by the end of 2026.
Haleon currently is located in nearby Warren.
The news was first reported by NJBIZ.
Haleon bills itself as the “world’s first truly global consumer health company,” saying its purpose is to deliver better everyday health with humanity. It features many well-known brands, including Advil, Aquafresh, Robitussin, Theraflu and Tums.
A Haleon spokesperson told NJBIZ the amenities of The Park and its location, right off Interstate 78 with easy access to the Garden State Parkway, N.J. Turnpike and Newark Liberty International Airport, were factors in its relocation.
“The Park campus is close in proximity to our current location in Warren while offering an upscale hospitality-driven employee experience,” they said. “The ownership is highly invested in maintaining and improving the property. Additionally, the location has public transportation options and is closer to the metro area and Newark Airport. There is robust on-site security, an on-site hotel, as well as space for coworking, events and catering, and conferences.”
