Hanemann, Friedberg Rottenstrich, Smith named JA Hall of Famers

Business icons Kim Hanemann, Gail Friedberg Rottenstrich and Monica Smith have been selected as the 2025 inductees to the New Jersey Business Hall of Fame, Junior Achievement of New Jersey announced Monday.

The New Jersey Business Hall of Fame is JANJ’s signature celebration of leadership, honoring extraordinary individuals and organizations who have made lasting contributions to New Jersey’s business community and beyond. Each year, Laureates are recognized for their outstanding business achievements, visionary leadership, community engagement and commitment to integrity.

Hanemann (president and chief operating officer of PSE&G), Friedberg Rottenstrich (co-founder and president of ZAGO Manufacturing) and Smith (founder and CEO of Marketsmith) have done just that.

The three will be inducted Nov. 6, at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick. And they will be joined by two other honorees.

Teik Lim, the president of New Jersey Institute of Technology, is being honored with the 2025 Trailblazer Award, which highlights an innovator who has advanced new frontiers in their field.

Bank of America will receive the newly introduced Legacy Partner Award, which honors a corporation or organization that has demonstrated longstanding impact through partnership, leadership and investment in future generations.
