The Warren County retail landscape is set to gain a new major tenant, as Larken Associates announced a long-term lease with Jersey Mike’s Subs at The Village at Hawk Pointe shopping center in Washington.
The popular fast-casual sandwich chain, which originated in Point Pleasant will occupy a 1,865-square-foot space at the complex located at 5 Club House Drive. The new location marks a significant milestone for the brand’s presence in the state, becoming its 10th New Jersey restaurant.
The addition of Jersey Mike’s Subs represents the third national retailer to join the tenant mix at The Village at Hawk Pointe in the past two years, following leases signed with Edward Jones and T-Mobile in 2023.
Rob Marek, executive vice president of the Commercial Division at Larken Associates, expressed excitement over the deal.
“Since we acquired The Village at Hawk Pointe in 2018, we’ve been able to bring a strong mix of well-known tenants to the complex,” Marek said. “Jersey Mike’s is another great addition to our tenant lineup at The Village at Hawk Pointe, and we’re excited to see them serve residents of Washington and nearby communities.”
The 106,415-square-foot Village at Hawk Pointe is a prominent grocery-anchored shopping center in central Warren County, featuring a diverse mix of retail, office, and medical tenants, including anchor ShopRite, Visions Federal Credit Union and Hunterdon Health. The complex is part of a larger 65-acre mixed-use development that also includes 120 single-family homes and the Hawk Pointe Golf Club.
The transaction was brokered by Marek of Larken Associates and Silbert Realty, who represented ownership, with Coletta Commercial Realty representing the tenant.
