Hackensack Meridian K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital in Neptune received a Honda Shogo electric vehicle on June 18.
The unique electric vehicle was designed to spread joy and fun to pediatric patients during their hospital stay.
It is the second hospital in New Jersey, and in the New York City tri-state area, to have the Honda Shogo, generosity gifted by TriHonda.
The special delivery was welcomed with remarks by donor Denise Gellis of Middletown, NY Honda and Dr. Jessica Scerbo, interim chair, Department of Pediatrics at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, and an inaugural ride by patient Nicky.
