L. Robert Lieb, chairman of Mountain Development Corp., will be inducted into the Hall
of Fame of the New Jersey chapter of NAIOP Monday night at the East Brunswick
Hilton.
The event will be the key portion of NAIOP’s President’s Awards and Hall of Fame
Reception.
NAIOP N.J. CEO Dan Kennedy said the honor is well deserved.
“As a member of NAIOP NJ for over 41 years, Bob has provided our Chapter with
unparalleled Industry leadership,” he said. “His knowledge and experience in CRE are
invaluable to our membership.”
Lieb, who founded Mountain Development in 1979, has been previously honored twice.The company’s current president, Michael Seeve applauded the announcement of this
honor.
“Bob Lieb has been a mentor to me and countless other New Jersey real estate
professionals for many, many years, and this honor for him is richly deserved,” he said.
Seeve said Lieb has been a sophisticated, long-term real estate investor for nearly five
decades, earning the respect of the industry.
“Bob has placed special emphasis on acquiring assets with real architectural interest
and seeking out and winning significant space commitments from the most sought-after
tenants,” he said.
Some of Lieb’s most prominent projects include the Summit Medical Group campus in
Berkeley Heights, the Telx Data Centers in Clifton, and 56 Livingston Avenue in
Roseland, among many others.
“Bob has assembled a significant regional portfolio, and he has also taken an active role
in numerous charitable and philanthropic endeavors,” Seeve said.
Active throughout the Northeast, MDC’s team includes in-house development,
accounting, property management, construction, leasing and marketing professionals,
enabling the company to operate autonomously and execute business plans for
complex and varied projects.
