Prager Metis CPAs, a top-tier international accounting and advisory firm with a heavy presence in New Jersey, has officially entered a new era of leadership. Effective Jan. 1, Lori Roth has been appointed chief executive officer, while Stuart Mayer has stepped into the role of chief operating officer.
The appointments signal a strategic shift for the firm, which operates 26 offices across North America, Europe, and Asia, as it seeks to double down on high-growth initiatives and operational efficiency in a rapidly evolving global financial landscape.
Roth succeeds Glenn Friedman, who will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board. Roth is a seasoned veteran of the firm, previously serving as Global Managing Partner. In her new capacity, she oversees a powerhouse team of more than 100 partners and 600 professionals.

Supporting Roth’s vision is Stuart Mayer, the newly minted COO. Mayer previously served as the Northeast Regional Managing Partner, where he was instrumental in the firm’s New York City and Long Island expansions.
