Mazzotta Rentals Inc. (MRI), an independent provider of construction and industrial equipment rentals in the Northeast, officially announced its expansion into the New Jersey market with a new branch in Lumberton.
Scheduled to take possession of the facility on Feb. 1, 2026, the company expects the site to be fully operational by April 1, 2026. The move marks a significant geographic milestone for the Connecticut-based firm as it pushes further into the Mid-Atlantic region.
The Lumberton facility is positioned to serve as a high-speed logistics hub for Central New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia. Located just 30 miles from downtown Philadelphia, the site offers immediate access to critical transportation arteries, including:
-
Interstate 295
-
The New Jersey Turnpike
-
Route 38
The location’s proximity to these corridors allows for “rapid-deployment” delivery logistics, a hallmark of the Mazzotta brand. The new branch is also strategically situated roughly 115 miles from the firm’s recently opened Brewster, NY location, enabling seamless cross-branch coordination and fleet sharing across the tri-state area.
“Our team is thrilled to bring the Mazzotta Rentals standard of service into New Jersey,” said Joseph Mazzotta, Chief Executive Officer. “Entering the New Jersey market—and particularly this location—will allow us to service both Central NJ and Philadelphia proper with the responsiveness and reliability our customers expect.”
The expansion follows a year of significant financial momentum for the company. In early 2025, Mazzotta Rentals secured a $160 million credit facility led by M&T Bank, specifically intended to accelerate fleet expansion and infrastructure growth.
