Moshe, Kifaieh, Moulick in top spots at new Hudson Regional Health network

Yan Moshe, Dr. Nizar Kifaieh and Dr. Achintya Moulick were named to key positions at the new four-hospital Hudson Regional Health network consisting of Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, Bayonne Medical Center, Hoboken University Medical Center and Christ Hospital in Jersey City.

Here’s a breakdown.

CarePoint Health (the reorganized not-for-profit organization that governs Christ Hospital and Hoboken University Medical Center): Moshe was appointed chairman; Nizar Kifaieh was named CEO.

Hudson Regional Hospital and Bayonne Medical Center: Moshe will serve as chair; Kifaieh will serve as CEO;

Hudson Health System (the management service organization that will operate the network as one integrated health care system): Moshe and Dr. Achintya Moulick will serve as co-chairman.

Hudson Regional Health was formally established on May 22, 2025, following the court-approved implementation of CarePoint Health’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan.

With more than 5,000 employees and over 1,500 affiliated physicians, the HRH network has already begun executing plans for expanded services, advanced technologies, and facility upgrades across Hudson County.

Recent milestones include the successful launch of a general neurosurgery department at Hudson Regional Hospital — marked by the hospital’s first craniotomy using advanced navigation technology — and the implementation of artificial intelligence in the radiology department to enhance diagnostic efficiency and care coordination.

Moshe, Kifaieh and Moulick provided critical resources and guidance that led to the successful integration of the three former CarePoint hospitals — Bayonne Medical Center, Hoboken University Medical Center, and Christ Hospital — into Hudson Regional Health system.

“This is a proud moment for all of us who have worked tirelessly to create a more unified, modern, and patient-focused health care system in Hudson County,” Moshe said.

“We now have the foundation, leadership, and vision in place to deliver on our commitment to elevate care in every corner of the region.”

Kifaieh added: “I’m honored by the Board’s trust and look forward to working with our dedicated teams across all four hospitals. We’re building on the success of Hudson Regional Hospital by expanding access, modernizing infrastructure, and prioritizing the patient experience throughout the network.”

Moulick added: “Hudson Health System is the realization of our highest aspirations for excellent healthcare services to Hudson County and the broader region, and I am excited to continue CarePoint’s legacy of service to the community in this new role. Together, we are creating a cohesive healthcare network built on shared expertise, community roots, and a deep commitment to better outcomes for the patients we serve.”
