Moxie Strategies grows with four additions

Moxies Strategies, the Asbury Park-based boutique national public affairs and advertising agency founded by Maggie Moran that launched last April, is expanding quickly.

On Monday, the firm announced it was adding four new members to the team, bringing decades of experience in public affairs, campaigns, and research experience to the agency.

Moran, the CEO, was thrilled to make the announcement.

“At Moxie, we’ve redefined the way agencies approach the work, and our latest talent additions embody that vision,” she said. “We have brought on board intelligent, dynamic, and mission-driven individuals who excel in delivering exceptional results.

“By expanding our creative, data, and client engagement teams, we amplify the strategic power fueling every communications campaign we launch. In a company where every talent contributes to our growth, our clients receive the full commitment of a dedicated team focused on their success.”

Moran said Moxie, a majority woman, gay, and black owned company, embodies a commitment to redefining public affairs and advertising. It recently was named of the six best new agencies in North America by PRovoke Media.

“Our culture is not just impressive; it creates meaningful, high-impact outcomes,” she said. “Following our recognition as one of the six best new agencies in North America by PRovoke Media, it’s clear that our innovative model is not only transforming public affairs but also attracting top-tier clients and talent.”

The firm, which also has an office in New York City, announced these hires:

Marian Zambrano, senior designer: A visual storyteller with a sharp eye and a strategic mind, she turns complex ideas into bold, beautiful campaigns that resonate. With a portfolio spanning health care, labor, energy, nonprofit, and corporate clients, Marian specializes in digital and print design, branding, and creative direction — blending psychology, art, and precision to help clients cut through the noise and connect with their audiences.

Kyle Taylor, VP, Research & Analytics: With ten years of experience across quantitative research, campaign work and public affairs, Taylor brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to Moxie’s Research and Analytics team. He sees beyond the numbers, turning data into clear, actionable strategies.

Kara Fesolovich, principal, client management: Fesolovich brings experience driving media coverage both across New York and DC. As a Deputy Communications Director for Governor Kathy Hochul, Fesolovich served as the primary communications strategist for the Governor on issues in the education, agriculture, and public lands spaces, and overseeing press and communications of affiliated state agencies.

Sarah Jane Merritt, special projects and executive associate: She brings a blend of grit, creativity and deep New Jersey roots to her role. Most recently, she served as a distributed organizer on the Harris Walz presidential campaign, where she helped design and implement some of the cycle’s most ambitious people-powered programs, including a record-breaking volunteer call operation and over 2,500 volunteer-hosted events.
