The New York New Jersey FIFA World Cup Host Committee announced a partnership with Telemundo and Rockefeller Center to host the fan village for the duration of the tournament which will take place from July 4-19, 2026, right in Manhattan.
The Fan Village, produced by Rockefeller Center, will serve as Manhattan’s hub of celebration for the NYNJ region, complementing matches played at New York New Jersey Stadium and the landmark FIFA Fan Festival™ at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
The New York New Jersey World Cup 26 & Telemundo Fan Village at Rockefeller Center will be the Host Committee’s flagship Manhattan fan experience, envisioned to offer an unparalleled match viewing and fan engagement experiences, along with other hospitality and entertainment throughout the tournament, including:
- The Pitch: At the heart of the Fan Village, the iconic Rink will be transformed into a vibrant soccer pitch serving as the centerpiece for live match viewing
- Champions’ Garden: The Channel Gardens will be transformed into a living tribute to the eight (8) nations that have lifted the FIFA World Cup trophy and the legends who defined those historic moments.
- Fan Zones: Located across the Plaza is a sprawling, interactive festival where sport, culture, community, and brand engagement converge.
Empire State Development CEO Hope Knight explained the vision.
