Panel to help employers prepare for risks, realities of AI in 2026

Jan. 20 event in Parsippany to feature experts from Brach Eichler, SAX and Rutgers

Every business leader knows the use of AI in the workplace will grow dramatically in 2026.

But do they understand the risk that comes with that?

A panel discussion on Jan. 20 in Parsippany can help.

The in-person event, to be held at SAX’s office at 389 Interpace Parkway in Parsippany, will include tax and legal experts from Brach Eichler and SAX, as well as an instructor in labor relations from Rutgers to help business owners and leaders at small and mid-size companies better understand the issues and implications of AI in the workplace.

Jay Sabin and Lani Dornfeld of Brach Eichler, Rob Owen of SAX and Vikrant Advani of Rutgers will explain three primary risks that companies face from unguided employee use:

  • Inadvertent disclosure of confidential information: AI engines are constantly hungry for data, including the data that your employees input;
  • Incorrect output: Studies show that the most common AI engines produce incorrect content about 15%-40% of the time;
  • Biased output: The generated content reflects the data in the AI engine.

Businesses also have to be mindful of the burgeoning body of laws regulating AI usage.

The panel aims to prepare business owners and leaders to better understand what already is here: AI in the workplace.
