Ramsey-based S.E.M. Security Systems acquired by Pye-Barker Fire & Safety

Ramsey-based S.E.M. Security Systems was recently acquired by Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, based in Atlanta, is the nation’s largest integrated provider of fire protection and life safety services and this deal significantly expands Pye-Barker’s footprint across the Northeast.

S.E.M. Security was founded by Stephen Mocarsky, whose career took a pivotal turn from general fire protection to the security sector after he experienced a home break-in. That incident sparked a lifelong mission to protect his neighbors and local business owners from similar threats.

“Protecting the businesses, families and property of our neighbors has always been our driving motivator,” Mocarsky said. “Knowing that we now have Pye-Barker’s resources to take our mission to the next level is deeply meaningful for our entire team.”
