Resource Realty secures key office leases in Millburn and Denville, highlighting demand for amenity-rich workspaces

Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey (RRNNJ) on Wednesday said it successfully secured two new office leases in prominent suburban locations, underscoring a growing trend among small- and mid-sized businesses to prioritize workspaces with convenient access to lifestyle amenities.

The two transactions involved a newly constructed mixed-use building in downtown Millburn and the high-profile Professional Plaza in Denville, Morris County.

Millburn lease highlights ‘live-work-relax’ trend

In Millburn, RRNNJ Principal Brian Wilson brokered a deal that saw a national real estate company lease the entire 5,000-square-foot second floor of a new mixed-use building at 378 Millburn Ave.

The lease showcases strong demand for Class A office space situated within vibrant, walkable communities. The property is located in the heart of Downtown Millburn, just three blocks from the train station, offering easy access to the town’s highly-ranked schools, specialty shops, award-winning dining, and the renowned Papermill Playhouse.

“Small- and mid-sized businesses are increasingly seeking out properties that offer high-walk-score access to lifestyle services, restaurants and entertainment,” Wilson stated. “It’s about creating a workspace that serves as an anchor for and extension of vibrant live-work-relax communities.”

The Millburn property features street-level retail, elevator access, and electric-vehicle charging stations, creating a flexible and convenient workspace that Wilson says is being driven by businesses looking to balance convenience with community.

Denville lease bolsters medical corridor

In Denville, Wilson and Principal Greg Sabato represented landlord Woodmont Properties in arranging a new lease at Professional Plaza (3155 Route 10) for an unnamed medical-related services provider.

This new tenant joins a strong roster of healthcare-related tenants at the high-visibility building, which is located on one of the busiest corridors in the state. Sabato highlighted the importance of location and strong demographics for businesses in the professional services sector.

“Properties of this caliber, with their high visibility and demographic strength, are becoming increasingly vital for businesses looking to grow their customer and talent base in a well-established community such as Denville and the surrounding areas,” Sabato said.

The Denville property is conveniently located near Downtown Denville, a Main Street America district, and is less than three miles from two train stations, allowing employers to attract talent from the educated labor pool of the surrounding Morris County suburbs.
