SciTec promotes David Simenc to president

SciTec, a Princeton-based provider of national security solutions, announced David Simenc has been promoted to president. In his new role, Simenc will lead the company’s overall operations, while former President Jim Lisowski will continue as CEO.

Lisowski expressed his full confidence in Simenc’s ability to lead, highlighting his strategic planning and customer engagement skills. Simenc has been with SciTec for nearly 13 years, starting as a staff engineer and rising through various technical and leadership positions. Most recently, he served as vice president of SciTec’s Defense, Intelligence, and Space Solutions (DISS) Business Area, which oversees over 300 professionals.

With two decades of experience in the national security arena, Simenc has been instrumental in growing SciTec’s market presence. His strategic focus helped transition the company from an innovation engine to a prime contractor on large-scale programs. A key accomplishment was leading SciTec’s expansion into the U.S. Space Force and securing the Space Systems Command’s FORGE mission processing initiatives.

As president, Simenc will focus on organizing the company for continued success on critical programs and ensuring the delivery of customer missions. He will also continue to serve as the FORGE chief architect for the company.
