Hoboken-based Semperis appointed Randall Belknap as head of U.S. federal sales.
Belknap will lead the cybersecurity and identity protection software company’s public sector go-to-market strategy, will aim to drive strategic growth in U.S. federal accounts, and oversee the expansion of the company’s federal partner network and channel distribution initiatives.
Belknap aims to build on Semperis’ growing momentum in the federal space by strengthening relationships with key agencies and system integrators, developing new channel distribution models, and scaling a partner-first approach to delivering identity-first security solutions.
His efforts will complement Semperis’ existing partnership with Carahsoft and expand access to the company’s solutions through trusted federal procurement vehicles and resellers.
Semperis CRO Mike DeGaetano explained how Belknap’s work is aiding the company.
“His experience, vision, and deep relationships across the federal ecosystem will help accelerate Semperis’ mission to protect the identity systems that are critical to government operations,” he said.
Belknap joins Semperis following successful federal sales leadership roles at Checkmarx, HPE, Micro Focus and Oracle. At Checkmarx, he built and led the U.S. federal sales division, helping to drive significant adoption of application security solutions across civilian and defense agencies. He has also played a vital role in helping multiple cybersecurity companies navigate the complex process of achieving FedRAMP certification and scaling federal operations.
Belknap explained how Semperis is leading the way in identity security.
