The DAK Group, a leading investment bank headquartered in Ridgewood, announced the successful sale of its client, The Thesing Companies, to Katsam Property Services, a portfolio company of private equity investor Unity Partners. The transaction capitalizes on Thesing’s strong position in the street sweeping and property services space.
The Thesing Companies, a provider of heavy street sweeping, soil erosion control, and property maintenance services, is headquartered in Sewell. The acquisition, announced on Oct. 21, 2025, significantly expands Katsam Property Services’ presence and operational capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic Region, building upon the New Jersey company’s existing foundation.
Monetizing hard work and strategic fit
The DAK Group, which is based in Ridgewood, served as the exclusive investment banker and financial advisor to Thesing, initiating and managing a competitive sale process.

The transaction highlights the continued activity in New Jersey’s middle-market business sector, with a New Jersey-based investment bank facilitating the sale of a New Jersey-headquartered firm to a larger platform, ensuring the continued growth and legacy of the local business.
