Wakefern Food Corp. has announced a large-scale hiring initiative, with its supermarket banners hosting walk-in job fairs on Oct. 18th. The hiring events are a unified effort by ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market to recruit new talent across eight states.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 18th, participating store locations across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts and Rhode Island will open their doors for in-store recruitment.
Job seekers are encouraged to simply walk up to any participating location, as no advance registration is required. Candidates will have the opportunity to speak directly with hiring teams for immediate consideration for a wide variety of roles.
Open positions span full-time, part-time, and management levels, with high demand for roles such as general clerks, front-end associates, stocking staff, and perishable department team members.
