TD Bank unveils four-region model to streamline growth and local service

Mount Laurel-based TD Bank announced a major strategic realignment of its regional structure, consolidating its Mid-South Metro segment into two newly defined regions: the Mid-Atlantic Metro and the Southeast Metro.

This shift to a unified four-region model is designed to unify service models, accelerate decision-making, and deepen client access to specialized expertise across the bank’s Eastern Seaboard footprint.

The realignment places seasoned veterans at the helm of the newly expanded regions, ensuring stable leadership during the transition:

  • Mid-Atlantic Metro: Led by Regional President Rob Curley, a 36-year veteran of TD Bank. This region now spans Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

  • Southeast Metro: Led by Regional President Nick Miceli, who brings 28 years of experience to the role. This region will serve clients from North Carolina through Florida.

“By empowering local teams with greater resources and decision-making authority, we’re positioning ourselves to respond more quickly, support local growth more effectively, and build even deeper relationships,” Andy Bregenzer, head of Regional and Small Business Banking at TD Bank said.

The move reinforces the bank’s “One TD” philosophy, which aims to provide a more integrated experience for customers by connecting them with broader peer networks and specialized product knowledge. By bringing teams closer to the resources they use daily, TD Bank expects to deliver a more consistent and connected experience across its retail distribution network.

“Our stores and the experience we create are at the heart of how TD shows up for our clients and communities,” Allison Robinson, head of retail Distribution said. “This realignment builds on that foundation by bringing teams closer to the resources and expertise that provide that support every day.”

While the regional structure is changing, TD Bank confirmed that existing leadership within specific markets, including the Carolinas, will remain in place to ensure continuity for local customers and businesses.
