TD Bank’s move, from its longtime headquarters in Cherry HIill to 4140 Church Road in Mount Laurel is only 6.2 miles — figure about 15 minutes considering South Jersey traffic — but it’s impact will be great.
That’s the thinking behind the bank’s move, which began earlier in September and will be completed by the end of the month.
“The move brings the local colleagues within the TD campus closer together,” a spokesperson said. “The company is looking to create a more connected campus experience at Mount Laurel.”
The fact that TD has an existing conference room in Mount Laurel is a plus, too.
“The move will allow us to have more senior leaders closer to their colleagues,” the spokesperson said.
The bank’s footprint will not noticeably change.
The new location is just under 60,000 square feet (59,891), which is just slightly larger than the Cherry Hill location.
TD Bank is one of the 10 largest banks in the U.S. by assets, providing over 10 million customers with a full range of retail, small business and commercial banking products and services at approximately 1,100 locations throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Metro D.C., the Carolinas and Florida.
TD Bank is a subsidiary of The Toronto-Dominion Bank, a top 10 North American bank.
