The Goldstein Group places McDonald’s at prime I-287 adjacent location in Oakland

New 4,500 SF restaurant to be developed at signalized intersection

The Goldstein Group on Monday said it completed a transaction to bring a new McDonald’s restaurant to 24 West Oakland Avenue in Oakland.

The fast-food chain is planning to develop a 4,500-square-foot restaurant at the site.

The location is strategically situated at the signalized intersection of West Oakland Avenue and Route 202, and critically, offers direct access to Interstate 287.

“We were pleased to assist McDonald’s in expanding their presence in northern New Jersey,” Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group, who represented McDonald’s in the deal alongside Marc Palestina, said. “This Oakland site, adjacent to I-287, is a prime location with great highway exposure and access.”

Laurence Leibowitz and David Zolotorofe represented the landlord, Landmark Oakland 24, LLC.

The new McDonald’s will join a robust mix of area tenants, including major retailers and fast-food competitors such as Shop Rite, Walgreens, City MD, Chase Bank, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, KFC and Taco Bell.

McDonald’s is recognized globally as the world’s largest fast-food restaurant chain, operating over 40,000 outlets in more than 100 countries.
