Matawan-based The Otteau Group on Tuesday announced the promotion of Connor Montferrat to partner. The firm stated that the promotion recognizes his “many contributions,” leadership, and dedication to clients.
Montferrat, who has been with the firm since 2017, previously served as director. He holds the MAI designation, which signifies advanced knowledge in real estate appraisal, and specializes in complex valuation and advisory services.
Montferrat is also an experienced expert witness in litigation matters related to valuation, eminent domain, and feasibility studies. His work has included high-profile projects such as site selection for Netflix Studios at Fort Monmouth and luxury skyscrapers in Manhattan.
In a statement, Christopher Otteau, the firm’s managing partner, lauded Montferrat not only for his professional talents but also for his integrity, humility, and commitment to mentoring his colleagues. Montferrat also serves his local community in government service roles.
