The Vitamin Shoppe boosts executive ranks with key appointments in digital marketing and inventory planning

Monika Grabania and Erica Evans join leadership team to accelerate digital growth and operational efficiency

Secaucus-based The Vitamin Shoppe, a specialty retailer of nutritional products, on Monday announced two executive appointments aimed at strengthening its leadership team and supporting a new era of growth and transformation.

Monika Grabania has been named vice president, digital marketing, effective immediately, and Erica Evans was appointed vice president, inventory planning earlier this fall.

“These appointments represent a dynamic next step for The Vitamin Shoppe as we continue building out a high-performance organization aligned with our bold growth ambitions,” Sharon Leite, CEO of The Vitamin Shoppe said. “Their leadership will be instrumental as we elevate the customer experience, hone our digital capabilities, and strengthen our operational excellence to fuel this next phase of our evolution and expansion.”

As vice president, digital marketing, Grabania will oversee all digital marketing efforts, including growth marketing, CRM, loyalty programs, and data strategies. Her focus will be on deepening customer engagement, strengthening loyalty, and expanding the brand’s reach across all digital channels

Grabania brings over 20 years of leadership experience from global beauty, retail, and consumer brands, including L’Oréal USA and A&E Television Networks. Most recently, as head of digital Transformation, Media and E-Commerce for Flora Food Group North America, she built the digital infrastructure and drove a 13x increase in e-commerce sales in under four years.

“There is an incredible opportunity to create more meaningful, data-driven connections with our customers, and I’m excited to partner with this talented team to help spark a new generation of digital innovation and change,” Grabania said.

Meanwhile, Evans has been appointed vice president, Inventory Planning. In this role, she will lead enterprise-wide inventory planning, forecasting, and allocation, ensuring optimal product availability and sales productivity across the company’s omni-channel network.

Evans joins The Vitamin Shoppe with more than two decades of experience in merchandising and inventory roles across various retail channels, including direct-to-consumer and subscription services. Her prior experience includes serving as vice president of Merchandise Planning, Allocation, and Inventory Management at GNC, and over 13 years in senior planning roles at HSN.

Evans noted the critical nature of her role in the company’s growth. “Optimizing our inventory planning is a critical key to unlocking new growth opportunities across stores and digital,” she said. “As we implement AI and machine-learning capabilities, we have an enormous opportunity to improve our forecasting, enhance agility, and build an even more efficient inventory ecosystem.”

Grabania and Evans are the latest high-impact additions to the leadership team, following the appointments of Mike Forbes as executive vice president, chief strategy officer, and Kate Vukelich as executive vice president, chief people officer earlier this year.
