TOPDON US, a Rockaway-based provider of automotive diagnostic tools, is actively supporting the next generation of female auto service professionals by donating its advanced ArtiDiag800 scan tool to scholarship recipients of Women in Auto Care.
The donation is part of the company’s TOP-UP Academic Program, which is dedicated to bolstering the future automotive workforce. Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, works to provide education, networking, and leadership opportunities for women in the industry.
“We’re committed to supporting the next generation of automotive professionals, and we will continue championing the vital role that women play in our industry,” Chad Schnitz, vice president of TOPDON US said. “By providing these tools… we’re ensuring these capable individuals have the equipment they need to advance their careers in the automotive workforce.”
Equipping the next generation
The ArtiDiag800 is a critical piece of equipment for modern technicians, offering full system diagnostics for 54 makes and 16 maintenance service functions for common repairs. The scan tool is included in the Women in Auto Care scholarship’s $9,000 tool kit, which is awarded to 20 recipients.
Missy Stephens, manager of Community Engagement at Auto Care Association, praised the partnership, stating that TOPDON’s contribution directly empowers the next generation of female technicians with the high-quality tools required to thrive.
“Partnerships like this help break down barriers and open doors for women pursuing hands-on careers in the auto care industry,” Stephens noted.
The TOP-UP program demonstrates a strong commitment to industry support, having already donated over $250,000 in cash and products to various organizations and training centers focused on preparing future auto technicians.
