Tropicana Atlantic City is set to kick off the football season with a new, first-of-its-kind experience called the Gridiron Pit. This innovative concept, located on the casino floor near Caesars Sportsbook, combines live football viewing with the excitement of casino table games. The new space is scheduled to open on Sept. 4, just in time for the Philadelphia Eagles’ home opener.
The Gridiron Pit is designed as a “Watch & Wager” destination, where guests can catch every play on large high-definition screens while playing blackjack. The area will also feature tailgate-inspired food from Chickie’s & Pete’s Crab House & Sports Bar, along with beverage service.
Joseph Giunta, senior vice president and general manager of Tropicana Atlantic City, stated that the Gridiron Pit “blends the best of both worlds” for guests. He added, “We’re redefining what game day means in Atlantic City with this one-of-a-kind space for fans, whether you’re here for the action, the camaraderie or the game-day bites.”
In addition to the viewing and gaming experience, the new space will offer football-themed decor, lounge seating, and vendor activations. Guests can also win prizes by spinning the “Big Wheel of Prizes” throughout the season. The Gridiron Pit will be open every Saturday and Sunday for guests aged 21 and over.
