Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, the specialty Italian-themed grocer, is hosting a companywide hiring campaign, including at its New Jersey locations, as it seeks to hire more than 1,000 new employees across its markets.
The first Hiring Day will take place on Nov. 1, at all Uncle Giuseppe’s stores, with most locations offering walk-in interviews from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
New Jersey residents interested in a grocery career are encouraged to visit one of the state’s three current Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace locations: Ramsey, Morris Plains, and Tinton Falls.
Opportunities across all departments
The hiring campaign is driven by the store’s steady growth and continued expansion across New Jersey and New York. The company is looking to fill both full-time and part-time roles with varied schedules in multiple departments:
- Fresh Departments: Bakery, Prepared Foods, Deli, Meat, Seafood, and Produce.
- Retail/Operations: Grocery, Catering, and Front End (Cashiers).

This initial event is part of an ongoing effort, as the company plans to hold open interviews monthly to meet sustained interest and growth. The retailer currently operates three successful New Jersey locations in Ramsey (Bergen County), Morris Plains (Morris County), and Tinton Falls (Monmouth County).
