UVeye expands AI-powered vehicle inspection to commercial fleets

UVeye, a Teaneck-based AI-powered vehicle inspection company, has announced an expansion of its automated inspection systems to support commercial fleets.

The heavy-duty platform is compliant with CTP AT17 requirements across the U.S. and UK, enabling an automated 17-point inspection process specifically engineered for the trucking and bus sector.

Utilizing the company’s AI-powered drive-thru scanners, this new solution performs a complete 360° scan of heavy-duty vehicles in seconds, detecting external or mechanical flaws and identifying damages, modifications, or foreign objects under and around the vehicle.

By detecting even the smallest damages and providing hyper-accurate evaluations, UVeye maximizes both safety and quality assurance. The company’s advanced drive-thru systems can detect a wide range of issues, including:

  • Tires — wear, mismatched sets, and compliance issues
  • Underbody — leaks, cracks, rust, or hidden structural damages
  • Exterior — scratches, dents, and other hard-to-spot flaws

Every inspection generates a sharable digital report with annotated images, creating a new level of clarity for fleet managers, drivers, and compliance officers. This latest expansion transforms the inspection process for heavy-duty vehicles, which aims for fleets to improve safety, streamline compliance, and minimize costly downtime.

UVeye CEO Amir Hever looked forward to the improved efficiency.

“Extending UVeye into the trucking and bus market is a pivotal milestone,” he said. “We’ve already scanned millions of vehicles for OEMs and dealerships, and now we’re bringing that same proven accuracy and transparency to fleets. It’s all about helping operators maximize uptime, reduce costs, and deliver a better customer experience.”
