Walmart is proud to deepen its commitment to New Jersey by investing in local stores, empowering associates, and enriching the communities it serves every day. To that end, the super retailer recently unveiled details of four planned store remodels in the Garden State this year underscoring the retailer’s commitment to being a favorite place for New Jerseyans to shop.
“Our stores often serve as the heartbeat of the communities we operate in, and these remodels are a testament to our dedication to enhancing that role,” Annie Walker, senior vice president, East Business Unit at Walmart, said. “By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all.”
The four stores are located in Vineland, Berlin, Bridgeton and East Windsor which will be converted into a Supercenter currently scheduled to open in late 2025.
Each of the four Walmarts being remodeled will have their in-store shopping experiences reimagined with updates throughout the store, including:
- Big, bold signage and exciting new displays to better showcase merchandise.
- Expanded departments and many new items with more of what customers are looking for.
- Expanded online pickup and delivery of online customer orders.
- Pharmacy upgrades such as wider aisles, private screening room and privacy checkout areas.
