Marko Wityk has been appointed as senior general manager of Casio’s Education Technology Division, the company announced last week. Tetsuya Yonehara has been appointed as deputy senior general manager.
Casio officials said the company intends to reinforce its position as a reliable partner in education while refining the usability and cohesiveness of its tools. They hope to minimize learning curves between calculator models and ensure that students are equipped with intuitive, test-ready devices at every academic stage.
They will work out of the company’s location in Dover.
Marko Wityk, who previously led Casio’s Retail Business, will now oversee both retail and educational sales operations. His expanded role puts him at the helm of Casio’s EdTech division during a critical period of modernization. As part of his new mandate, Wityk intends to guide product development and business growth while steering the company’s response to evolving educational demands.
Tetsuya Yonehara, known for his deep roots in educational marketing and outreach in Japan, will support Wityk’s vision. Together, Casio hopes the two bring a blend of operational expertise and education-focused insight to the division’s evolving mission.
Wityk said the goal is to simplify the education transition.
“Our goal is to simplify the learning experience for students and educators alike,” he said. “With the new Classwiz branding, we’re creating a more seamless transition between scientific and graphing calculators, so students can focus on learning, not relearning.”
