The wait for “The Greatest Sandwich in America” is over for Somerset County residents. Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, the acclaimed fast-casual concept known for its hand-pulled turkey and premium cheesesteaks, is officially opening its doors at 68 Mountain Blvd today, March 10.
The Warren location marks a significant expansion for local entrepreneurs Jimit Dharia and Urvi Jatania. The husband-and-wife duo are no strangers to the brand’s cult following; the new shop is their third Capriotti’s venture in the Garden State, adding to their existing successful locations in Princeton and Marlton.
Originally from India, Dharia and Jatania bring a diverse professional background in construction and restaurant management to the table. Their journey with Capriotti’s began after a single visit to a Pennsylvania location, where the quality of the food convinced them to bring the brand home to New Jersey.
