The Foundation at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center announced that its 2025 Golf Outing, held at the Hackensack Golf Club on Monday, Sept. 29, was the most successful in the Foundation’s history, raising a record-breaking $500,000.
The day-long tournament attracted nearly 300 golfers and over 45 corporate sponsors, generating crucial funds that will be used to enhance the hospital campus, support vital technology, and expand essential community health programs.
The money raised is earmarked to fund major initiatives, including the enhancement of the hospital campus and support for technology and innovation. It will also fund programs for:
- Elder care
- Behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment
- Other chronic conditions
“The Foundation supports the growth of essential services like our Emergency Department expansion and renovation, the launch of the Depression Center of Excellence, our new da Vinci 5 Surgical System, and encourages the innovations that provide equitable care to all those we serve,” Deborah Visconi, president & CEO, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. said.
Supporting lifesaving programs
The success of the 2025 Golf Outing highlights the Foundation’s commitment to advancing the Medical Center’s mission and capabilities.
“The Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of the patients, long term care residents and communities served by the Medical Center,” Louis Weiss, Chair, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Foundation said. “We work closely with Deb and her team to help support Bergen New Bridge, so the hospital has what is needed to continue to grow and develop lifesaving and innovative programs.”
The record funds will ensure Bergen New Bridge Medical Center can continue to invest in cutting-edge technology and expand its programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community.
