The 27th annual N.J. Board of Public Utilities Supplier Diversity Development Council Conference — an event that brings together suppliers and utility companies — will be held Oct. 16 at the Palace in Somerset.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information and to register, click here.
This theme of this year’s event — “Corporations, NJ Suppliers, and Utilities – Energizing Change Together” — could not be more relevant at a time when diversity programs are under fire.
Clint Parker, CEO of LeaderLift will be the keynote speaker.
Other speakers include:
- Christine Guhl-Sadovy, president, NJBPU
- Kim Hanemann, president & COO, PSEG
- Mark McDonough, president, New Jersey American Water Co.
- Christie McMullen, president, Elizabethtown Gas
- Doug Mokoid, president, JCP&L/FirstEnergy
- Michele O’Connell, president, Rockland Electric Company/Con Edison
- Marissa Travaline, VP, New Jersey Natural Gas
The SDCC says the event reflects a shared commitment to building stronger partnerships, fostering innovation and supplier advancement in New Jersey’s utility sector.
For nearly three decades, the SDDC has brought together diverse suppliers, corporate leaders, and utility partners to share best practices, open doors to new opportunities and create meaningful connections that strengthen our communities and our economy.
Today, it is continuing that tradition with a program designed to inspire action, spark collaboration, and accelerate progress toward a more diverse marketplace.
“We are not only driving change — we are energizing it,” SDDC officials said.
