Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City properties—Caesars, Harrah’s Resort, and Tropicana—have demonstrated a powerful commitment to breast cancer awareness and research, collectively raising $129,708 for the American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink campaign.
The combined efforts of the three resorts secured the top three spots as the highest-fundraising teams in the entire Greater Philadelphia area campaign.
The success of the campaign was driven by the dedication of the resorts’ Men Wear Pink ambassadors: Michael Kane (Caesars), Christopher Lee and David Getter (Harrah’s Resort), and John Happersett (Tropicana Atlantic City).
Notably, John Happersett, Casino Operations Controller at Tropicana, earned distinction as the No. 1 fundraiser in the Greater Philadelphia region and achieved national recognition, placing an impressive No. 10 among all Men Wear Pink ambassadors across the country.
“Our Team Members showed incredible passion in rallying support for this cause,” Barron Fuller, regional president, Caesars Entertainment said. “From prize drawings to a large charity golf outing, their efforts helped raise critical funds for breast cancer awareness and research. We could not be prouder of their commitment and impact.”
Throughout the month of October, the ambassadors and resort staff hosted a variety of creative fundraisers that fostered both team member engagement and community support, including:
- Water ice and bake sales
- Prize drawings and a dunk tank event
- A “trash-to-treasure” sale
- A dedicated Charity Golf Scramble
The Men Wear Pink campaign empowers male community leaders to use the color pink throughout October to raise awareness and critical funds, supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate survivors, and fight for a world without breast cancer.
