Cancelled Newark Liberty Airport flights for Tuesday, Nov. 11: Departures and arrivals

The U.S. Senate on Sunday night took the first steps toward ending the government shutdown. The process, however, still has plenty of steps to go to reach the finish line.

If you’re a business traveler, that means the delays that slowed air travel all weekend will continue to wreak havoc this week.
It also means the FAA-mandated reductions in the overall schedule remain in place.
United Airlines is releasing a daily log of all flights that have been cancelled due to those FAA-mandated reductions.
The carrier will include this information on its app – and notify customers directly.

Here is the list for Tuesday, Nov. 11:

United previously has said that no long-haul flights (those over six hours) or international flights would be cancelled.

United also has said that passengers can get refunds for their flights (whether they have been cancelled or not) for any reason.

All of this comes at a time when the airline is greatly enhancing its service and experience.

There is a push to use more sustainable fuel and increase WiFi access on flights. And a push to improve pre-flight experience, as evident by the airline’s new Polaris lounge in Newark, which was expanded earlier this year.
