MacLean to replace the retiring Jim Shevlin at ESIS after 24 years

Whitehouse Station-based Chubb has named Brent MacLean the division president of ESIS Inc., a leading third-party administrator and a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm.

MacLean succeeds the retiring Jim Shevlin, who served for 24 years.

Effective immediately, MacLean is responsible for ESIS’s profit and loss performance and advancing product development, customer service, relationship management, and sales strategies for the division.

He will report to Matt Merna, senior vice president, Chubb Group and division president, North America Major Accounts. ESIS is based in Philadelphia.

MacLean has more than 20 years of experience, having held multiple leadership positions specializing in workers’ compensation.

Prior to joining ESIS, he served as chief executive officer of CompIQ Solutions, where he successfully led the organization through a period of growth and innovation. In November, Chubb appointed Bill Hazelton as chief operating officer (COO), North America Field Operations. He oversees the delivery of the company’s personal and commercial insurance products.
