Cooper Center for Healing expands addiction services to Burlington County

The Cooper Center for Healing, Cooper University Health Care’s Division of Addiction Medicine, announced the expansion of its services into Burlington County. The new location will be housed within the Cooper Primary and Specialty Care at JFK office in Willingboro.

The expansion is a strategic step toward fulfilling the Center for Healing’s mission to make compassionate and accessible addiction care available throughout South Jersey. According to Dr. Rachel Haroz, head of the Cooper Center for Healing, “Addiction knows no geographical boundaries. We want to offer our critical services far and wide across South Jersey.”

An addiction medicine specialist will be available at the Willingboro office every Thursday to provide key services, including Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT), substance use disorder evaluations, and referrals for specialized care.

Over time, the Center plans to expand the offerings in Willingboro based on community needs, with potential additions including counseling and patient navigation. Existing patients in the area can transfer their appointments to the new, more convenient location.

The Cooper Center for Healing is a State of New Jersey-designated Center of Excellence for substance-use disorders. The program offers an integrated approach to care, providing evidence-based treatment for patients with substance use disorders, pain, trauma, and psychiatric disorders in a variety of settings. The center’s wide range of services includes inpatient and outpatient treatment, emergency housing support, and group therapy.
