Cooper neurosurgeon appointed as associate editor of the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery

Daniel Tonetti, a Neurosurgeon at Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience, has been appointed as associate editor of the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery

Tonetti is a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of complex neurological and vascular conditions using advanced, minimally invasive techniques. He is director of cerebrovascular neurosurgery at Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience and assistant professor of neurosurgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. 

Tonetti will now be part of the journal’s core editorial leadership team, helping guide its clinical and scientific direction.

Launched in 2009, JNIS is the official journal of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, as well as the leading peer-reviewed publication focused on minimally invasive treatments for complex neurological and vascular conditions.

Tonetti praised the journal for how it helps advance the medical field as well as his excitement to actively build on its foundation.
